From the moment I first stepped onto the ice, I knew skating would be more than a hobby. It would be my life. Those early days taught me discipline, resilience, and how to keep going when the falls outnumbered the landings.
Professional Skating Career
Over the years, that passion took me into the professional skating world on ice & inlines. I started from the bottom and more than exceeded any goals I ever had and some. Each contract was an education, where I continually learned and leveled up. Along the way I learned how productions are built, how performers are treated, and how the skating industry operates behind the curtain.

World First & World Records
Since switching to Inline Figure skates I really tried to push my self creating many world firsts and world records. Especially my time in Las Vegas during the pandemic where are learned every trick I could find that had been done, then created new combos and many new never been done before tricks on Inline Figure Skates. At my last count I set over 100 Worlds Firsts and World Records. One day I will have them all categorised when someone can do it for me.

Notable Records
A side quest I have once ONE Blades is established is to create something to celebrate Figure Skating World Firsts and World Records, which I hope will push ice, inline and quad sports even further. These will all be entries through verified original videos using meta data. Yes there will be prizes
Pushing The Boundaries
In 2020, I entered Cirque Life, a global video circus competition against some of the best circus athletes in the world.
Three Rounds | Three Partners | Three Different Pair Disciplines | Three Countries.

Round 1 — Las Vegas
Circle act inside a 1.8m cyr wheel on inline skates, with a partner on quad skates.

Round 2 — Tenerife
Performance on the street with a partner who was without skates.

Final Round — Poland
A performance in a nightclub on acrobatic inline skates with a third partner.
As if I'd been given a final challenge to complete every type of skating combination, my skates were lost on the way to Doha so I performed a full acrobatic pair skating act in shoes while my partner wore skates, doing headbangers, one arm detroiters, and all tricks, which was quite the rush.
No stage? I built my own. No skating partner? We made it work. No skates for me? I made it work. Those moments from street performances in Tenerife with a partner in ballet shoes, to a luxury stage in Doha where I performed in shoes while my partner wore skates proved that creativity, adaptability, and resourcefulness can carry a performance as powerfully as technical skill. They pushed the boundaries of what skating could be beyond the ice and brought the sport to audiences who had never seen it performed that way before.
Coaching Career
When I stepped away from full-time touring, I moved into coaching, working with skaters of all ages on ice at Fylde Coast Arena Blackpool, inline, and quads online. I was also head coach at Rollerworld Colchester and founder of the Inline Figure Skating Open 2021, which had 80+ skaters competing globally. During my time coaching I saw the same truth repeated, talent alone wasn't enough. Skaters were being held back by outdated equipment, high costs, limited opportunities, and a culture resistant to change.
Entrepreneurial Ventures
That realisation led to the creation of The Skating CEO, a platform to speak openly about the challenges no one else will, mentor the next generation, and help parents and coaches see a better way forward. Alongside that mission, I co-founded ONE Blades, the first truly modular skating system designed to lower costs, remove barriers, and give skaters more freedom than ever before.
At the same time, I built and still run ONE Cardano, an NFT project that not only survived but grew through one of the toughest periods in crypto history for NFT projects, the recent bear market. I learned how to adapt when markets collapsed, how to keep communities engaged when hype faded, and how to use blockchain tools for real-world impact. Those lessons in decentralised systems, revenue sharing, and digital asset integration now power the backbone of ONE Blades.

Today, my journey is about more than lifts, jumps and spins. It's about using every skill, insight, and tool I've gained to rebuild skating's future, making it more affordable, more innovative, and more rewarding for every skater, parent, and coach who loves this sport as much as I do.
